How to merge TS files
Add the TS segments
Copy the .ts files from your set-top box, tuner or stream download and drop them onto the page.
Keep them in sequence
Adapterry sorts files by name in natural order, so segment_2.ts comes before segment_10.ts. Drag any part that is out of place.
Merge to one video
Pick MP4 or another format and click Merge & convert. Preview an MP4, MOV or MP3 result on the page, then download it.

Supported formats
Add MP4, MOV, AVI, VOB, MKV, WebM, MPG, M4V, 3GP, TS or MTS files, or a mix, and get back one MP4, MOV, AVI or VOB, or an MP3 of the sound. MP4 plays almost everywhere.
Recordings and streams in parts
Set-top boxes and DVB tuners often split a long TV recording into several TS files, and HLS stream downloads arrive as many short segments. Merging them in order rebuilds the whole show or stream as one file.
TS files hold H.264 or MPEG-2 video with AAC, AC3 or MP2 audio. If every part is H.264 with AAC and the settings match, saving as MP4 or MOV joins them without re-encoding. Otherwise they are fully converted, and interlaced TV video is deinterlaced.
Questions and answers
Can I merge HLS stream segments?
Yes. Add the downloaded .ts segments and check the order. Natural filename sorting usually puts numbered segments in the right sequence already.
Why does my TS TV recording take a while to merge?
Broadcast TV is often MPEG-2 video with AC3 or MP2 sound, which has to be fully converted and deinterlaced. H.264 and AAC recordings can skip that when you save as MP4 or MOV.
Which audio is kept from a TV recording?
The first audio track. If the broadcast carried extra languages, those tracks are left out.
Can I put a merged TV recording on a DVD?
Yes. Choose VOB and you get MPEG-2 video with AC3 audio at DVD resolution. Open it in DVD authoring software to make a playable disc.
Do I need special software to open TS files after merging?
No. Save the result as MP4 and it plays on phones, computers, TVs and most websites.
