About Adapterry
Video tools that just work. Adapterry exists because joining a few clips, or fixing a file that won't play, shouldn't mean sending your videos to someone else's server.
Why we built it
Most online video tools ask you to upload your files, wait, create an account and then pay to remove a watermark. For a family video or a client's footage, that is a lot to ask. We wanted a tool that does the job on your own computer and then gets out of the way.
What we believe
Your files are yours. Adapterry processes video in your browser, so we never receive them.
Free should mean free. There is no account to create and no watermark on your video.
Plain words beat settings. You pick files and click one button, and we choose sensible defaults so the MP4 plays almost anywhere.
What it does today
Adapterry merges MOV, AVI, VOB and MP4 files into one MP4, or converts a single video to MP4. We plan to support more formats over time.
Honest about limits
Because the work happens on your device, very large jobs depend on your memory and can take a while. Copy-protected DVDs are not supported. We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out halfway through.
