Copy VTS_01_1.VOB and the rest
Open the disc's VIDEO_TS folder and copy VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and the next parts. Add them to the page in that order.

A DVD soundtrack as one file
A DVD stores its main recording in VOB files of about 1 GB each, named VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and so on. The sound is usually AC3 or MPEG audio, which many phones and car stereos can't play. An MP3 plays on nearly all of them.
Adapterry joins the VOB parts in list order, takes the first audio track and writes a 192 kbps, 48 kHz stereo MP3. A recording with no sound can't give an MP3. Only unprotected discs work, such as DVDs you burned yourself.
Questions and answers
Which VOB files hold the concert sound?
Usually the largest set, VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and so on. The small VIDEO_TS.VOB is the menu and can be left out.
Can I convert a store-bought concert DVD to MP3?
Not if it is copy-protected, and most store-bought discs are. Adapterry works with unprotected discs you made or have the right to use.
The DVD has two languages. Which audio ends up in the MP3?
The first audio track of the VOB. Other tracks, such as a second language or a commentary, are not included.
How long does a full DVD take to turn into MP3?
Reading several GB of VOB files takes a while, often a few minutes. Keep the tab open, and use a desktop with Chrome or Edge for the quickest run.
